Zeugin der Anklage
"Witness for the Prosecution" -
...finally another live Agatha Christie classic!
Freudenstadt On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the Berlin Criminal Theatre will once again perform at the Theater im Kurhaus. At 8 pm, the curtain will rise for a crime play that has it all. In the style of "Agatha Christie," throughout the plot, nothing is as it seems. The viewer will ponder more than once who the murderer might be or not. And like a common thread, through this staging of the British master's crime classic, a well-thought-out, perfectly planned crime unfolds to the smallest detail,.... Of course, only until the crime is fully revealed!
Plot:
Leonard Vole is accused of the murder of a wealthy widow. His lawyer, Sir Wilfrid Robarts, firmly believes in Vole's innocence and fights with all means to prevent his client from being convicted. The plot twists intensify when Vole's wife Romaine unexpectedly changes her own testimony. This unexpected move appears to seal Leonard Vole's fate, as all the evidence now speaks against him. Sir Wilfrid, who still insists on Vole's innocence, faces what seems like an insurmountable challenge. But then, just when all seems lost, Romaine brings a shocking turn to the case. She surprises not only Leonard Vole and his lawyer but also the entire court with a surprising confession.
