Dinge, die ich sicher weiß
A stroke of luck for the theater – and a celebration for the actors is this humorously melancholic, frequently performed well-made play in German-speaking theaters, where every word is perfectly placed: No sentence is too much, nor is any word too little spoken. Because the youngest daughter counts the things at the beginning and end of the play that she knows for sure are important to her, we get to know the six-member Price family, who grows dear to our hearts as their dynamics mirror many families that laugh and grieve, love and argue, and reconcile, but of course also conceal many of their hopes, plans, and realizations from one another. And so, by the end of the year, through which we accompany parents, children, and siblings, much is no longer as it was at the beginning.
