Mia Pittroff: Ich geh schon mal nach hinten los
The cabaret artist Mia Pittroff will present her new program on Friday, January 22 at 8 p.m. at JTF Forchheim: "Ich geh schon mal nach hinten los".
In her new solo program, the studied Germanist reveals some secrets: Why, if she were French, she would call her parents every day. Why it is important not to change clothes for three days. And why she brings a marshmallow salad to the festival at the Waldorf kindergarten.
While the world spins faster to the right than the yogurt culture in paleo muesli, and the news situation is more changeable than the departure platform of an ICE train in winter, much remains the same with Mia Pittroff: she is still her parents' child, the mother of her children, a native Franconian, and a convinced hobby Berliner. Extremes are still too extreme for her, instead, she celebrates the middle ground:
Children? Sure, but not too pretty. Electric car? But please wash it in the driveway every Saturday.
And the dream man should have a receding hairline. She still firmly believes in democracy, but not on a family holiday in Rügen. Her humor is quick-witted, but slowed down in language.
Too silly for cabaret, too subtle for comedy. Too woke for the province and too provincial for the capital. She uses gendered language, but in dialect. She does go out. Just backwards!
However, maybe backward is also the new forward? To go out is the new to stick? Is cabaret the new comedy? Is cabaret still the right form of protest or does it need other forms of civil resistance? And is this addiction to correcting and knowing better only so bad in Germany? Isn't perfection actually terrible and terribly dangerous?
One thing is as sure as the moth in paleo muesli: spending an evening going backward with Mia Pittroff is worth it in any case!
