The Elvis Musical in Berlin is a spectacular show that celebrates Elvis Presley's incredible career and his musical legacy. The Elvis Musical takes the audience on an incredible journey through the life and music of the "King of Rock 'n' Roll". From his beginnings in Memphis to his legendary performances in Las Vegas and around the world, the show will thrill with Elvis' iconic songs like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Hound Dog," "Jailhouse Rock," "Suspicious Minds," and many others. The live band and Grahame Patrick - who is among the world's best Elvis performers - bring the energy and sound of Elvis' music to the stage. In a uniquely successful way, the parodist Andreas Neumann brings the popular comedians, humorists, and film stars of the economic miracle years back to life, and he does it so skillfully that Heinz Erhardt's daughter, Grit Berthold, approvingly noted, "When I heard Andreas Neumann, I thought my father was alive again." One truly believes in an incarnation of the economic miracle comedian who passed away in 1979! The press writes, "The best Heinz Erhardt since Heinz Erhardt."
Andreas Neumann will also present other prominent guests on stage because as a professional parodist, one should have more than one voice available. For the parodist, particularly fruitful personalities such as Heinz Rühmann, Hans Moser, Theo Lingen, and Jürgen von Mangers Tegtmeier, Neumann lends his versatile voice, as well as Marcel Reich-Ranicki, Inge Meysel, Ekel Alfred, and others have their say, often at a speed that makes one think there are several people on stage. It is one of the most successful Broadway musicals of all time: A Chorus Line.

The musical tells the story of an audition that demands everything from hopeful applicants. For a new Broadway show, there are eight ensemble roles to be filled. Choreographer Zach is not only looking for great dancers but also requires the talents to expose their inner selves. Gradually, the protagonists reveal their life stories, sometimes defiantly, sometimes using humor as a shield, and then brutally honest, which makes it all the more moving. The big themes come to life on stage: love, sex, and the question of who am I and where do I belong in this world? This is what makes the musical, which was filmed in 1985 starring Michael Douglas, so timeless - as every member of the audience, faced with the diversity of emotions presented, may eventually feel tempted to say 'Oh yes, I know that feeling'. The ideal framework for the multifaceted plot is the (almost) impossible love story between Zach and Cassie. It's no wonder that "A Chorus Line," after its premiere in 1975, broke the record for the longest-running musical in New York.

Matthias Romir has been creating short pieces at the intersection of juggling, object theater, clowning, and video art for over 20 years. At some point, he noticed that many of his works have an inherent connection, even though it was never planned. Many small stories come together to form a larger narrative, becoming Romir's first evening program. The full range of his work unfolds in an intense visual frenzy. "Life is Short Stories" is a collection of visually artistic anecdotes about the meaning and madness of life. The stories are sometimes concrete, other times abstract, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes silly, sometimes dark, but always humorous and rooted in real life. Almost entirely without words, the artist addresses the worries, fears, and hopes of a man who wants to free himself from his constraints yet seeks stability. Expressive Juggler/Depressing Clown/Contemporary Weirdo: that's how the boundary-crosser describes his work. In addition to his solo work at theaters and street festivals, he often adds a peculiar touch to variety shows and cross-genre show productions. He has toured with the Tiger Lillies' Freakshow and with Circus Quantenschaum, among others.

Poetry Slam, the modern competition for poets, is the most popular form of cabaret in Germany. In Stuttgart, Poetry Slam is better assimilated than the mandatory sweeping of streets and more popular than photos of the castle square. Writers of all kinds gather on stage to perform their self-written pieces. The lovingly selected line-up presents an impressive medley of Poetry Slam forms: poetry, rap, cabaret, story-telling, beatbox, comedy, and spoken word.

For over 20 years, everything that is possible with words has taken place on the Rosenau Slam stage. The audience decides who wins. To convince the audience, the German-speaking stars of the scene, as well as literary debutants and after-work poets, have seven minutes at their disposal.
