Heavenly exult and rejoice - Annie Heger is going on a big tour with her successful Christmas album Bethlehem. Between contemplative blues, holiness, beer crate charm, and stable smell - the Christmas message has never been so clear and necessary as in this time.

Annie Heger is one of the most famous entertainers in the North and a colorful character among the East Frisian seagulls. Often referred to as a jack of all trades, she is involved everywhere: as a radio columnist for the NDR cult column "Hör mal’ beten to!", Low German book author, or on stage with socially critical cabaret. She hosts the country's largest live shows and tackles the most difficult social issues on high and Low German stages.

In her program and eponymous album "Bethlehem," she tells the familiar Christmas story in a new way. It's about closed doors, a little child, a light that guides the way, and an impressive "Fear not!". Messages that we can particularly use well in these times.

Annie Heger shares her attitude towards Christmas with her songs: It is for her the festival of festivals, a safe harbor, a coming home, and of course a big party! Personal memories of Christmas celebrations with the extended family, the hustle and bustle of Christmas markets, the stillness when looking at the crib, absurd Christmas customs, gift wrap orgies, and dancing around the Christmas tree have inspired the concert evening.

The brewery tour begins with a knowledgeable guided tour through the historic brewery museum and through our modern brew house from the brewing plant to the bottling, where up to 60,000 bottles are filled per hour.
The ongoing bottle filling is very likely on weekdays, but due to possible maintenance, cleaning, and setup work, this is not guaranteed in every case.
Especially on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, the bottling is relatively likely not to be in operation. We ask for your understanding in advance.

After the tour, we offer a tasting (30 minutes) of our Jever beers with a choice of two glasses of Jever Pilsener, Jever Fun, Jever Fun Lemon, Jever Fun Blood Orange, or Jever Light for everyone aged 16 and over. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available.
In addition, our brewery taproom serves a homemade snack and presents a souvenir.
For children and teenagers (up to 15 years), a soft drink and a small snack will be served.

30. Festival der Kleinkunst with Sven Ratzke and his program "We could be heroes"

With his fabulous shows full of spectacle, art, and captivating music, singer and entertainer Sven Ratzke is making waves worldwide. Now he returns with "We could be heroes" in a limited edition, with new songs and arrangements, back to Berlin, Amsterdam, and New York. In this extraordinary show, he presents David Bowie's striking song gems in his own sound world: Bowie, as you have never heard him before and as the legend himself would have loved it!
Audiences and press agree: There is hardly any other artist who comes as close to David Bowie as Sven Ratzke. Bowie personally granted him permission in 2014 to engage with his entire works. And with "STARMAN" he then allowed the crazily rocking "Ratzke Universe" to meet Bowie's legend in a unique music show in 2015, thrilling international audiences in Amsterdam, London, New York, and Melbourne and has been awarded multiple times for it.
An evening like a wonderful journey, where the unique poetry of David Bowie and the typically crazy Ratzke stories form a special symbiosis. Accompanied by his brilliant four-man band, there's Seventies glam rock, grooving sound collages, rock, pop, entertainment: headstrong, witty, sexy, and extremely captivating.
The audience can look forward to new, magnificent costumes by Ian Griffiths (Max Mara), original songs, and a compelling selection of Bowie songs: very entertaining!

Christmas songs are plentiful. Most are watered down and kitschy, often haunting the troubled parents as an unpleasant earworm long after the tinsel and ornaments have been stored away in the basement. And who says that kids are into shallow tinkering? No one!
And that's exactly why it's great that there's the band "Randale." The four musicians Jochen Vahle, Christian Keller, Garrelt Riepelmeier, and Marc Jürgen create rock music for children. Sometimes loud and raucous, sometimes thoughtful and quiet, but with a wink and a lot of humor.
10 cool songs that set the mood for this special time in the proven Randale style. And that means: as country, reggae, rock, or punk versions! The oh-so-celebrated Christmas tree is distinctly set in Jamaica at Randale, and the bells in Gloria in Excelis Deo don't sound sweet but rather quite rockin'. The cuckoo and the donkey argue over the prettiest tree, and Peter and Harald naturally celebrate together.
