FAQS:
Location
The Festungsflimmern takes place in 2025 on the Neutorwiese above the Neutor. It is best reached from the city below. You can walk there (it’s only about 5 minutes from the Old Main Bridge), take the bus (Line 9), or drive (there are parking spaces at the fortress).
If you park at the fortress, you will have to walk back down to the Neutorwiese.
Food and Drinks
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring drinks onto the Festungsflimmern grounds, as the festival mainly finances itself through beverage sales. However, you can bring food from home.
Toilets
On site, there are toilet containers with individual cabins and running water as well as hand sanitation.
Blankets / Seating?
Please bring warm blankets to sit on. Additionally, the front lawn is equipped with 200 lounge chairs (bookable separately).
Weather and Ticket Validity
An open-air concert is not an evening on the sofa in front of the TV. We are in the midst of nature, which makes the atmosphere so unique. There is no bad weather, only good vibes! Everyone who buys a ticket therefore bears the weather risk. Since the stage does not have a permanent roof, performances cannot take place in heavy rain and strong winds. The organizer will offer an alternative venue or date in such cases.
Youth
Youth under 16 years old can only be admitted when accompanied by a legal guardian. Older friends do not count as legal guardians.
Dogs and Other Animals
It is not allowed to bring dogs and other animals to the Festungsflimmern.
