Harbor rat Ratzig has made herself comfortable. She works at the port authority, Department "Allesauberwunderbar," and lives in the bread drum in the middle of the pantry.

One night, a stowaway, the land rat Berry Bill, seeks refuge with her from the biting street dogs. He is a country rat from the spice island Pikante and tells enchanting stories from his homeland all night long. The most beautiful days of their lives begin... If it weren't for the nasty, bald tomcat Kralle Knickauge, who constantly stalks them, life could be sweet as sugar.
But one day, Berry Bill seems to have vanished without a trace. Rat Ratzig sees red and decides to build a ship to search for Berry Bill and his exotic island. As if in a dream, she sails through the Weizenei and boards the Goudamalaya. She anchors in Fallenfreiland, dances on the volcano of Popkornland, and digs through the underworld of Kanalien. But there is no sign of Berry Bill. Rescue comes in the form of a huge package that appears at the door one morning...

Anders writes smart pop songs in German that take the performance form of a cappella seriously and offer more than just instrument-mimicking covers of current chart hits or nostalgic songs about the flora on the balcony. They captivate their audience not only at their own concerts but also in the support act for bands like Revolverheld or Thees Uhlmann.
ANDERS are winners of the St Ingberter Pfanne 2020 (Audience Award & Special Award of the Minister of Culture), the Vokal.total Festival Graz 2019 (1st Prize in the POP category), and the SoLaLa A-Cappella Festival Solingen 2019 (Jury Prize & Audience Award). In 2019, ANDERS was awarded the CARA Award in the USA for their album "Viel Lärm um dich" as the best European A-Cappella album. They also won 1st prize at the Aarhus Vocal Festival 2024 and were honored with the promotion award of the Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Württemberg 2024.

The program title "So kurz davor" is understandably meant less as a self-description and more as a promise.
With "So kurz davor," the Freiburg formation once again shows that they can already compete with the big names in the scene.

The lord of the Maultaschen initiates the laughter attack!
Buckle up, hold on tight, and warm up your laughing muscles – because Markus Zipperle, aka the Swabian Saugosch, is coming by and bringing Swabian humor at the highest level!

The Swabian joke machine always enters the stage with a mischievous grin and the charm of a true Swabian – and then there’s no stopping! Between improvised fits of laughter, hard-hitting stand-up comedy, and wonderfully quirky Swabian musical numbers, one highlight follows the next.

And when the comedy award winner (Sebastian-Blau-Preis, Freudenstädter Comedy-Preis) then kicks off as the voice of Äffle & Pferdle, pure Swabian feeling is guaranteed – wonderfully honest and always mercilessly funny!

Subiaco-Orgelkino: BERLIN – Die Sinfonie der Großstadt (1927)

Experience this unique documentary film by Walther Ruttmann on the big screen in the monastery church. Ruttmann composed a symphony in images from the pulsating pre-war Berlin of the 1920s in 1927 with the help of experimental and bold cuts. The image symphony is accompanied by live improvised symphonic music on the organ sculpture by the cantors Sun Kim and Christian D. Karl.
