Playing, laughing, being loud, romping, doing nothing – and that in an exhibition house! From September 4, 2024, BAUBAU invites exactly that. In the play space for children designed by artist Kerstin Brätsch, more is allowed than forbidden. Colorful wallpapers, structures, objects, and a range of “Loose Parts” form spaces on the ground floor of the Gropius Bau that do not impose fixed guidelines but are determined by the activities of the children. They dictate the direction and form of what happens here. Thus, this place becomes a space of possibilities that can change day by day.

BAUBAU will launch in September 2024 in a prototype version and will continue to develop and grow over the coming years both inside and outside the Gropius Bau – in close exchange with the children and their wishes, as this is their place.

The Play
All children have the urge to play. This is how they learn to understand themselves and the world. Especially open, self-determined play is of great significance for emotional and social development. The educational concept for BAUBAU is therefore based on the principles of free play: Here, there is time, space, and permission for children to follow their own needs and interests. They are accompanied by playworkers – trained staff who create a safe and supportive environment where children can play freely.

The Art
BAUBAU playfully questions what a museum or an art institution should be. The comprehensive spatial design developed by Kerstin Brätsch is full of references and inspirations: elements from her previous works, such as marbling, paintings, or stucco marble work, reappear here in altered forms and materialities. The wallpapers, curtains, fabrics, seating furniture, and climbing structures are inhabited by dinosaurs, fantastical beings, termite mounds, and abstract elements. With their strange, funny, and perhaps a bit eerie shapes, they create an open framework for free play.

Kerstin Brätsch's practice is designed to allow and incorporate influences from outside. While she has previously collaborated with artists or artisans, she now does so in a completely different way with children: She invites the children to reshape and further develop the space according to their own ideas and visions, without the influence of the artist in unpredictable ways.

Finally everything!
Sabine Domogala can't help it: Whether on the ARD Ladies Night, on the various stages of the republic, or wherever she happens to be. Germany's unique life and motivation coach MUST help: "I am chosen, what should I do?!"

This unshakeable self-understanding is just one of her trademarks. With irresistible charm, dry humor, and tremendous wordplay, Domogala, as a self-proclaimed coaching legend, presents wonderfully exaggerated case studies on how life is better not lived, offers absurd advice that at best changes things, improves nothing at all, and amazes with extraordinary self-help tools. Suddenly, a simple hammer becomes a multifunctional megatool for self- and "other-optimization"!

To the delight of the audience, especially since the Berlin political scene has recently become part of Domogala's area of expertise. The master of preventive help is everywhere - always positive, always solution-oriented!

"Finally everything!" is a truly comedic, entertaining "coaching sham," where audience questions are welcome but not mandatory. In any case, something will happen: "You'll go home later and not recognize yourself anymore!" A promise that this exceptional coach has always kept so far.

"Her program (Finally everything!) is wonderful. The audience at the Schauspiel-Haus enjoys participating (…) Guests step into the absurd without realizing it. It’s wonderful that the Bonn native serves the whole thing so dryly that you first hang on her lips, and then catch yourself finding her ideas truly strange." “Reimart and Laughter”
Prädikat Wortvoll

In a world where hardly anything is easy in Brindisi and nothing is left untouched at Skagerak, where the universe above and below us no longer adheres to the rules, music comedian Willy Astor comes with new ideas from his creative realm.
As Wolfgang Amadeus emergency physician, he not only saves the evening but, at best, lets some of the everyday troubles be forgotten.
So why carry grumpiness under the turtleneck!?

Songwriter Astor creates a new cheerful consciousness; he is a sustainable and obsolete model, having been on stage for around 4 decades and thus a classic that one must have seen and heard repeatedly!
The all-round talent knows like no other how to twist the meaning and sound of words so that something completely new and ultra-comical emerges.
And the audience gets humor directly from the producer, of course.
The artist will appear personally again this evening, standing alone and speaking for himself.

Recently, the Queen of Comedy stood as the host of the legendary "Schmidt Show on Tour" on the stage of the STADEUM. Now she is back with her new solo program.

Markus Richter, Germany's most successful live drag artist, is presenting herself in her current program as openly as never before. For the first time in the history of drag, the true age of the artist will not be concealed, and the evening will be dedicated to important truths – Elke talks about her luxurious body and its interesting transformations and needs. This new, radical honesty suits the show icon, as she has never shied away from speaking her mind when it comes to uncomfortable truths in general or simply the hideous shirt of the man in row 5.

ELVIS meets Dinner!

With a powerful vocal volume and authentic movements,
we make the audience believe that the King himself is on stage. In
outfits from Presley's personal tailor, Rami Aslan takes
his audience on an exciting and energetic journey back in time to
the era of the King of Rock 'n' Roll.

With "wahlweise," William Wahl presents his third program. His election songs resonate not only live in sold-out venues across Germany but have also been listened to millions of times on the internet.

While his wordplay reliably brings fits of laughter, it is the very special mixture of poetry and comedy that enables him to master the nuances of the circle.
His piano songs are bittersweet, and in them, he maintains a loving view of life despite his very keen observations of human weaknesses. He shows us, not least in his song "Purely accidentally consensual," that we might still manage love after all. Despite everything. Or to put it in his words: The flip side of the coin is also made of gold.

In 2004, POEMS ON THE ROCKS, a band from the Stuttgart area, introduced a new music concept to the stage as one of the first in Germany: rock music with German translations of beloved English rock songs and their often cryptic meanings. Finally, the audience discovered what the songs were really about. Actor JO JUNG, known for many productions on ZDF, ARTE, and SWR, always translates the essence of the songs in a lyrical form, creating unique recitations with expressive facial expressions and language. The powerful singer JÖRG KRAUSS and the four professional musicians breathe life into the recited words, infusing them with the original's captivating groove. These four virtuosos are still together today:
CHRISTOPH BERNER – Guitar
ANDY KEMMER - Bass & Vocals
HELMUT KIPP - Drums
EDGAR MÜLLER – Keyboards & Vocals

KARSTEN HOPPE takes care of the impressive video show in the background, perfectly complementing the songs. For the anniversary year 2024, they have delved deep into the treasure chest of rock history once again to bring new high-quality rock gems to stages in southern German locations. This will be their 5th journey through time with the previous four being already documented on CD. The list of interpreters for the new anniversary program is colorful and diverse: CSN, Neil Young, David Bowie, The Beatles, Nick Kershaw, Sting, Peter Gabriel, and Pink Floyd.

Thoughtful, political, but above all, texts that are intensely focused on life, musically arranged sparingly, meet two great voices that fill every space with love.

The Berlin all-rounder Dirk Zöllner and the Thuringian singer Steffi Breiting have been close friends for many years, leading to repeated musical encounters.

Their duet "Zwei blinde Passagiere" is the crowning achievement of the latest Zöllner album "Portugal" from 2023. Not without coyness, they celebrate their platonic love here. Already in 2017, Dirk and Steffi had a respectable hit with "Zwei Sonnen." The Song of Songs about love is often played at weddings.

With Steffi's life partner Tobias Hillig on guitar and Zöllner's long-time companion André Gensicke on keyboards, "Blinde Passagiere" is a project that conveys not only the highest musicality but also friendship and peace.

In the year 2023, Erwin Grosche celebrated a special anniversary. For 50 years, he has been performing on the cabaret stages of the country. "Name one who could even come close to being able to represent the soul state of barley, oats, wheat, and rye so precisely in eurhythmic form as he. Long live Paderborn!", a critic jubilated about Erwin Grosche. The Paderborn cabaret artist surprises his audience with every program. In his new program: "THE PERFECTION - HOW THE VEHLER CAME INTO THE WORLD", Erwin Grosche will not only perform new stage works but also present popular pieces from the past 50 years in a different way. Erwin Grosche cannot be described. Those who have not seen him may miss out on the most absurd inner-world adventure of their cabaret fan life. Because whether Erwin Grosche returns or simply disappears to another planet is uncertain.

Monthly, host and gag lord Andy Sauerwein presents the hottest newcomers and comedians! Every month, at least five artists enter a merciless competition. All participants have a maximum of 10 minutes to prove their talent and must adhere to strict rules: no reading, only original jokes, and be as funny as possible. Those who do not follow the rules will be disqualified. At the end of the evening, the audience decides who gets to enter the annual final in December. Every winner is always rewarded with a beautiful trophy as the best goalkeeper, the prettiest St. Bernard, or the most active rabbit - whatever is currently being sold on eBay classifieds...

Those who want to participate can write to Gaglord@GTDcomedySlam.de
Those who want to watch can buy tickets (and can then still spontaneously participate...)

“Theater im Park” with ZIMMER.THEATER and cabaret artist Christian Schliehe!
A wet horn and a dry horn were strolling through the desert. Then the dry horn stumbled, and the wet horn said, "See!" Heinz Erhardt, cabaret artist and comedian of the first hour of the Federal Republic of Germany, is unique, yet his songs and texts continue to live on without him: serious and hilarious, meaningful and profound, because "humor is actually a serious matter…".
“He choked a rattlesnake until its rattle sounded flaccid.” His twisted wordplays, quirky verses, films, and hits are unforgettable. Charming and witty love songs and swing from the 50s and 60s ensure an enjoyable and entertaining evening for all generations. Due to high demand, the Heinz Erhardt evening is finally back, with new texts!

Heinrich del Core
„Yay, my wife is going to be a grandma!“

When Heinrich Del Core tells his everyday stories in his red shoes, one wants to exclaim: “Oh, come on! That could never have happened, he must have made it all up!” But all these events, which we can laugh about so incredulously and heartily, have been experienced by him personally. Heinrich Del Core is a magnet that attracts bizarre everyday situations, which he then presents to us with his unmistakably witty charm.

And now the time has come: Heinrich is going to be a grandpa. Or in other words: his wife is going to be a grandma! The new situation turns everything upside down. Overnight, Del Core's world is different. He buys a stroller that costs as much as a moped used to cost and today a Thermomix. He downloads baby apps for his wife and bakes mother cakes for family coffee meetings. Then there’s a wedding, environmentally conscious and vegan. But real joy doesn’t seem to arise when you have to throw unpeeled whole grain rice at the bride and groom.

But with grandparents, many problems just evaporate. Example bedroom: how often has restful sleep been disrupted by his wife's cold feet, the ongoing battle for the duvet, or because the man competes with a leaf blower in noise and air pressure? When the grandchild comes to visit on the weekend, Heinrich simply has to move out. Naturally, that affects his self-esteem. And doesn’t “grandpa” sound totally old? He actually feels younger - except in the mornings when getting up. Sometimes his joints make sounds then. But his wife keeps lifting him up: “Heinrich, you are really spry.” It seems she is handling the new situation much better. She says: “Being a grandma is like being a mom - only better.” She never thought about aging. She once left a note for the kids: “We are at the cemetery.” And Heinrich added: “But we'll be back.”

Yet despite all the changes in his life, this program is a typical Heinrich Del Core evening, because he himself says: “My wife is going to be a grandma, but I’m still the same.”

“The world should be a garden, with apples and figs and butterflies, as they describe paradise to us”

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Felix Meyer returns with his trio and new songs to the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen. After more than a year of hiatus, the Berlin singer-songwriter is back with a new album – poetic, stirring, danceable. An evening between campfire and society, between what is to remain and what must change.
Felix Meyer has long established a firm place in the German-speaking singer-songwriter scene. He belongs to those voices that do not sing about time but within it. His songs are observations of a flâneur – political, poetic, sometimes defiant, almost always tender. He tells of the small cracks in the grand scheme, of those moments when everyday life tips and hope still remains.
Together with Johannes Bigge (piano) and Norman Dassler (bass), Meyer unfolds music that refuses to stand still. Between melancholy and rhythmic force, songs emerge that grab where words fail – carried by that attitude that has defined his work for years: clarity with heart, anger with wit, poetry with attitude.
The new album marks the next step on this path. As always with Felix Meyer, it is more than a collection of songs – an invitation to think further. And to keep moving.

“Few other German-speaking singers manage the blend of very light-footed, mostly danceable music (including chanson, folk, world music, and pop) and profound, very poetic, life-affirming song lyrics.” (Das Magazin)
