No other living being represents the connection to nature of the Finns and the diverse interconnections between humans and animals like the bear. It is ideal in many ways to approach the country at the easternmost edge of the European Union.
The two travel photographers Ruth and Jürgen Haberhauer immerse themselves in the extraordinary culture and world of life of the "happiest people" and experience their deep connection to nature, hospitality, and openness.
The lecture "Finnland – Von wilden Bären und glücklichen Menschen" takes visitors to the Finnish natural beauties, into the remote regions of this sparsely populated country, and up close to small stories and large predators.

It is hard not to rave about my new book. Even for me.
The title Sextextsextett, a tongue and icebreaker in conversation at the same time.
What does it promise?
Everything you want and even more: a lot of zeitgeist that sometimes comes timeless and sometimes mindless, answers to pressing questions such as: What does language achieve in case of hair loss, how do you mindfully end things with your partner, what are the differences between Goethe's erotic poetry and that of Hermann Löns?
What does the feminist movement "Equal Breasts for All" want? Who said: The genitals are the actual focal point of will and what name could one give to one's own? Schopenhauer. So that quote comes from him, the other is your business. How many meanings can the sentence "I have a finger in the ass" have?
Several texts reflect my xenologophilia, my love for foreign words, which I then like to explain using jokes, such as malapropism, the confusion of similarly sounding foreign words.
“Yesterday afternoon I was deflowered. You mean confirmed! No, that was in the morning.” One of the most mysterious and at the same time universally usable sentences of the book, if not of literature, is: I am now awake. I do not wish to say more at the moment.

Puppet theater based on the children's book by Jakob Hein and Kurt Krömer.

There is a lot to say about Carola. However, if you want to describe her with one word, the word "fearless" fits best. Carola is not afraid of anything or anyone. Carola believes that those who are not afraid have more time to play. One night, Carola lies awake in her bed - and suddenly hears a deep, dreadful voice saying her name. When Carola looks under her bed, she discovers two eyes faintly glowing from the darkness.

A story about a brave girl who even tames a "monster."
A story for courageous people and all those who want to become brave.
For everyone aged 4 and up.

The greatest classic rock songs of the 70s, 80s, and 90s are performed including "Hold The Line" by Toto, "We Will Rock You" by Queen, and "More Than a Feeling" by Boston.

The fusion between pop and rock became more prominent in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. At this intersection between rock and pop, many of the greatest bands with their incomparable hits were born, hits that have lasted for decades. Bands that were among the most popular and commercially successful of these decades, such as Queen, Toto, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, The Eagles, and many more - the so-called "stadium rock" was born.

The five different colored vocal voices of Rock Rising harmonize perfectly in the multi-voice singing parts of these songs, but also precisely because of the differences in vocal voices, Rock Rising can recreate the entire range of the greatest rock voices of that time. Add to that the extraordinary ability of the seven musicians as multi-instrumentalists - they are able to perfectly reflect the amazing sounds of the classic rock band.

The Rock Rising show has achieved extraordinary success in its home country of Ireland and has quickly become an arena show here, now this exceptional show is finally coming to Germany for the first time.

A musical journey - two and a half hours with the best moments of classic rock! Rock Rising is a unique musical gem - the ultimate Classic Rock Show from Ireland!

After the novel by Dörte Hansen

Two women, two generations, two stories of escape: Vera Eckhoff came as a child from East Prussia to the Altes Land and remained tied to the farm where she was once unwanted for her entire life. Decades later, her niece Anne seeks refuge and guidance there with her son. The play addresses questions of home, belonging, and the transmission of memory, relating them to the current societal context of flight, arrival, and staying.

Fraudsters, impostors, and charlatans are everywhere; their greatest ability is the manipulation of human emotions. Those who control a person's feelings can easily exert control over their decisions. The goals of manipulators range from attention and affection to money and status.
Criminal psychologist Lydia Benecke explains the diverse methods of power exertion through manipulation using case studies. Those who believe they are immune to such strategies are under a serious delusion that has already led many to ruin. Only those who understand the psychological strategies of manipulation can consciously protect themselves from falling victim to them.

Announcement of the reading "Sextextsextett"

Jürgen von der Lippe, born in 1948, has been a successful master of humorous finesse and moderator on stages and television for decades. His recent books "Beim Dehnen singe ich Balladen," "Der König der Tiere," "Nudel im Wind," and "Sex ist wie Mehl" have been on the bestseller list for weeks.

It is the search for a purpose, a perspective, and a direction in life that drives the 25-year-old German-Iranian Mina Richman to music from an early age. Born in Berlin, but raised in the small town of Bad Salzuflen, she navigates between worlds and discovers treasures in her aunt's CD collection like Joan As Police Woman and Nina Simone. Soul and blues, hip-hop culture, and the rebellion of great female singer-songwriters inspire her as she works on her debut EP "Jaywalker" (2022), for which she is nominated as best newcomer for the PopNRW Prize. Educated "by accident" as a feminist by her father – as she once articulated in an interview with "Zeit" – she borrowed her artist name from the famous Cher quote "Mom, I am a rich man." Since 2019, Rasmus Syman has been an integral part of the Berlin comedy scene. The simple guy from the Ruhr area talks on stage about his own contradictions, tells embarrassing stories from his youth, and likes to vent about the things and people that annoy him. His energetic act has already brought him to the supporting program of comedians like Michael Mittermeier and Fabi Rommel, and in 2024/2025 he will be touring Germany as a support act for Filiz Tasdan.

You can also regularly see him at the Quatsch Comedy Club or as a headliner at Comedyflash, Downstairs Comedy Club, and the Mad Monkey Room. As an author, he has written for Comedy Central, Amazon Prime, and JOYN, and in front of the camera, he has appeared in "Falsch, aber lustig," "NightWash," and in Felix Lobrecht's "Comedy Halbzeit."

Rasmus delivers authentic comedy, personal and self-deprecating, but with a biting view of the world around him. He says terrible things, yet manages to remain charming while doing so. Well, at least he thinks so. In the end, it’s all just "Alles Ego." In his first solo program, the best jokes and stories from six years of comedy come together. Buy tickets. For his ego.

Andreas Neumann presents his Heinz-Erhardt evening

In a uniquely successful way, the parodist Andreas Neumann resurrects the beloved comedians, humorists, and film stars of the economic miracle years, and he does it so skillfully that Heinz Erhardt's daughter, Grit Berthold, remarked appreciatively, "When I heard Andreas Neumann, I thought, my father is alive again." One truly believes in an incarnation of the economic miracle comedian who passed away in 1979! The press writes, "The best Heinz Erhardt since Heinz Erhardt."
Andreas Neumann will also present other prominent guests on stage, as a professional parodist should have more than one voice at their disposal. For the parodist, particularly fruitful personalities like Heinz Rühmann, Hans Moser, Theo Lingen, and Jürgen von Mangers' Tegtmeier, Neumann lends his versatile voice, and also brings Marcel Reich-Ranicki, Inge Meysel, Ekel Alfred, and others to life, often at a speed that makes one think several people are on stage. One for ALL - all at once, that's the motto of the parodist.

Particularly noteworthy is that Neumann has written new texts for his program, allowing the audience to always experience something new with old acquaintances!

In addition, our gastronomic partners will serve exquisite regional delicacies – an impressive journey through time that you won't forget in a hurry!
