At the beginning, a shipwreck! Viola manages to save herself on the shores of Illyria. She disguises herself as a young man. Viola becomes Cesario, who presents himself as a servant to Count Orsino. But Viola/Cesario falls in love with Orsino. Orsino, in turn, loves Olivia, who has been rejecting him for months. Meanwhile, Olivia is very much interested in Cesario/Viola. When Sebastian, Viola's twin brother, also washes up in Illyria, chaos is complete. Further confusion arises from the endless drinking bouts of Toby Belch, Andrew Aguecheek, and Maria, who are against the steward Malvolio. However, the three take their revenge on the steward, who is also in love with Olivia.
In What You Will, nothing is as it seems, and no one is what they pretend to be. Yet in the end, there are only happy couples. Only Malvolio curses the company.

All culture enthusiasts can look forward to an evening of William Shakespeare's classic in (almost) new garb!

In "Was ihr wollt," nothing is as it seems and no one is who they claim to be. However, in the end, there might still be a happy ending (except for the unpleasant Malvolio, of course). The incredibly dense, colorful, and witty comedy indeed shaped the season of the Badische Landesbühne in its founding year 1969/1950 and now experiences a grand revival!

Life is too short to miss this summery comedy theater trip, this festival of dreamers: There will be singing, dancing, words flying around your ears to make you dizzy! But salvation is near: Laughter is healthy.

Four quirky literati meet to inaugurate the Paul-Scheerbart monument, a great but nearly forgotten writer and brilliant inventor of the Perpetuum mobile. But the celebration goes completely awry, the musician's piano goes haywire, the caterer is bankrupt, the speech manuscript is blowing in the wind. And who climbs out of the monument in the flesh? This can't be true!

8 actresses and actors drive themselves and the audience into this marvelous theatrical madness. What a nonsense!

Bernd Kohlhepp, who is widely known as HERR HÄMMERLE in the Southwest and is a prizewinner of the Baden-Württemberg Small Arts Award, and Nils Strassburg, the officially best German Elvis interpreter and frontman of the internationally touring band The Roll Agents, first met about 10 years ago in Stuttgart. Bernd Kohlhepp had invited Nils Strassburg for a short guest appearance at his Christmas show. The audience's reaction at that time was clearly:

Thus, the unique music comedy in Germany "Elvis trifft Elvis" was born almost naturally.

Michael Hatzius - The Lizard | Bistro Evening

Animal experiments can be extremely entertaining, especially when the award-winning puppeteer Michael Hatzius brings his quirky characters to life. The world-famous lizard is, of course, the star of the evening. Since the Big Bang, this grumpy yet charming reptile has been on our Earth, having personally divided the first cell and enjoying sharing its experiences. But other animals also seek their way into the spotlight. Pigs, ticks, chickens, or even a camel? We can be curious because on this evening, Michael Hatzius will introduce various characters from his universe. The audience is part of the "ex-lizard-ment," as improvisation is Michael Hatzius' great passion, making each evening unique.

The Berlin comedian Michael Hatzius and "The Lizard," the lovable reptile in puppet form, literally merge into one person on stage. The lizard uses its versatile knowledge not only to reflect on past and current events but also possesses clairvoyant abilities with which it dares to take a look into the future of its audience live. This promises a great comedy program for sure!

When the Berlin puppeteer Michael Hatzius, in his role as the ambivalent fire safety officer "Jens Schirner," guides the audience through the two-hour solo show, he not only has his lizard but also a chicken, two spiders, and many more in tow - who, as could be expected, each have their lovable quirks.

With a vibrant imagination, Michael Hatzius breathes true comedy life into his creatures. His performances are much more than just puppet theater: his fine sense for bizarre situations exposes many absurdities of everyday life. Michael Hatzius is living proof that the puppet-comedy genre is gaining increasing popularity.

Winnetou is immortal – that cannot be said of Mr. Boettcher and Mr. Kohlhepp. It has been 15 years since the two presented their spectacular Apache cabaret on stage.
But in a time when libraries are quietly letting their Karl May collections disappear, the duo recalls once again and poses the big questions of the time: Are old white men allowed to play young indigenous natives going on a villain hunt? Is Botox a better solution than the photo AI of a smartphone camera after a certain age? And: Is pemmican as food a climate-compliant solution for morally sound vegans? And above all hovers the significant question: Are they actually allowed to do that? Maybe they are not allowed. But they do it anyway. One thing is for sure: This will be a huge fun – right up to the bitter end!

When Heinrich Del Core tells his everyday stories in his red shoes, one might exclaim: "Stop it! That never really happened, he must have just made that up!" But all these events, over which we can laugh so unbelievably and heartily, have been experienced by him personally. Heinrich Del Core is a magnet that attracts bizarre everyday situations and then presents them to us with his incomparably funny charm.
And now it's finally happening: Heinrich is becoming a grandpa. Or put another way: his wife is becoming a grandma!
The new situation turns everything upside down. Overnight, Del Core's world is different. He buys a stroller that costs as much as a moped used to and a Thermomix does today. He downloads baby apps for his wife and bakes mother cake for family coffee gatherings. Then there's a wedding, environmentally conscious and vegan. But real joy doesn't quite set in when you're supposed to pelt the bride and groom with unpeeled whole grain rice.
But for grandparents, many problems disappear into thin air. Take the example of the bedroom: how many times has restful sleep been prevented by the wife's cold feet, the perpetual battle for the blanket, or because the man competes with a leaf blower in volume and air pressure. When the grandchild visits on weekends, Heinrich simply has to move out.
Of course, this affects his self-esteem. And doesn't “Opa” (grandpa) sound totally old? He actually feels younger - except in the morning when getting up. Sometimes his joints make sounds. But his wife always boosts him up again: "Heinrich, you're really in shape." She seems to cope much better with the new situation. She says, "Being a grandma is like being a mom - just prettier." She never thought about getting older. She once left a note for the kids: "At the graveyard." And Heinrich then added underneath: "But we'll come back."
But despite all the changes in his life, this program is a typical Heinrich Del Core evening, because he himself says: "My wife is becoming a grandma, but I'm staying the same."

Everything is humorously exposed and ruthlessly presented musically, in appropriate costumes. Naturally, their little internet hit "Aber mir roichts," which has brought sold-out houses to the Fehlaperlen since 2014, must not be missed.
Also, Ferdi, the guitar-playing token man, is back and gets to "soundtrack" the pearls' dressing room breaks. A program for all ages and all genders.

With their music & comedy shows 'The Perfect Concert Part 1 & 2' and 'The Impossible Concert', they have toured as an act or as a full-length show through well-known (humor) festivals, theaters, and music venues in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, France, and the Netherlands.
Stenzel & Kivits play the genre of music & comedy in surprisingly original ways, yet always recognizable.

In 2015, Stenzel & Kivits received no less than four prestigious awards, namely the 1st prize from the expert jury as well as the audience award at the cabaret festival "Die Tuttlinger Krähe" in Baden-Württemberg. The cheerful elderly caregiver Sybille Bullatschek is back! After her successful program "Full care power ahead!", which brought her sold-out houses and various TV appearances, the sympathetic Swabian now once again delights with eccentric stories and funny jokes around the "care" cosmos.

Chaos reigns again at the Sunset House! While the two elderly ladies Frau Grube and Frau Bongartz are still arguing about who gets to be in the photo with the mayor for the 100th birthday, the enfant terrible Mr. Seifert falls out of favor at the carnival parade with a hunting rifle he brought along. But not only the seniors are on edge. During a dubious coffee trip, Sybille shows the organizers where the caregiver gets the heated blankets.

In addition, you can also learn something on this evening. Sybille has her travel recorder with her once again and is cramming a new foreign language with the help of a learning CD. In her first program, she caused true peals of laughter among the audience during an English course with sentences like "my job isch Pfläge". The sympathetic caregiver doesn't want to reveal which language it is this time: "It will be exotic!" - that much she promises.

The shortage of skilled workers is a big issue for Sybille too. After the training of four new school interns fails, she's had enough! She invents care hypnosis to inspire people for her favorite job. "Deep in the subconscious, everyone wants to be a caregiver." she says convincingly.

And last but not least, love must not be missing. Where can you find a man when there's not much time between shifts and professional commitments? Correct: You go to speed dating and quickly turn men's heads there. At least that's how Sybille envisions it. But whether the flirting tips from colleague Evelyn have an effect and Sybille slides into a happy ending like in a Julia novel - let yourself be surprised!
